These are really amazing. I planted them from seed last year, and they have just grown and grown but haven't produced anything. They have looked like a big weed out there, they stayed green all year long. Then, out of nowhere we started noticing little artichokes growing! I would have expected them to flower or something, but they just pop up out of nowhere!
Here were the fixings for a great salad tonight. Kaci helped shell the peas, both girls love eating stuff fresh out of the garden.
